Let's talk about my summer.

Yes. I get to spend THREE months of my summer in Cape Verde on the island of Sao Vicente. I am beyond excited.






How cool is this?! I am going to be teaching english to young adults monday through friday and teaching with the sister missionaries on the weekends. Maybe I'll hit up the GORGEOUS beach every once in a while too : )

New Moon review

Okay, we have all seen New Moon. Here are my thoughts:

1. WAY better than Twilight
2. I am now leaning to team jacob side, probably because Taylor is a way better actor than Robert and way hotter
3. The acting is only really bad when Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have scenes together...luckily they dont have many scenes together in this movie
3a. The scene of Edward breaking up with Bella in the woods KILLED me. So terrible.
4. Due to #3, Eclipse is bound to be horrible
5. Best actor of the series is definitely Billy Burke, who plays Charlie
6. Not really related to the movie, but I have to share-- When Taylor took his shirt off for the first time in the movie, my cousin shouted, "Happy Thanksgiving!" hahahaha, so great.

Day of Thanks 09

Highlights of Thanksgiving:

-my ADORABLE niece Jasmine
-being with all of my siblings and my parents
-seeing my extended family
-playing card games and beating Sam and Jake
-sleep overs with Missy
-watching lots and lots of TV
-purchasing fabulous new boots
-playing curses and ninja with my cousins
-playing the piano
-attempting to learn how to do a roundoff
-watching monk with missy and gma
-getting an email from Reuben : )
